It is our privilege to take care of both you and your pet through the good times, the bad times, the tough decisions and the successes, all the while respecting your values and needs and acting in your and your pet’s best interests. We are not here to do the cheapest thing, the fastest thing, the easiest thing, or to blindly follow protocols – we’re here to do the right thing for you and your family, as defined by you.
Meet Our Team
Dr. Tiegan Brockway
Lead Veterinarian
Dr. Tiegs is one of those lucky people who always knew what her career would be: she wanted to be a vet since she first learned what one was at about age 5, and went on to graduate with honours in 2005. She’s been working happily as a small animal clinician ever since, and was so happy to find a clinic home in Booragoon Vet in 2015 – she has just loved the opportunity to meet and form wonderful relationships with the beautiful people and animals in the local community.
A bit of a perfectionist, in her work she loves gentle, neat surgical work, perfect tailor-made solutions for pet problems that allow her to work as a team with their families to get them happy and healthy and keep them that way, and the perfect sound of a cat’s purr when snuggled correctly! Outside of work you’ll find her hiking, running, yoga-ing, travelling, taking photos and hanging out with her three rescue cats; and yes, you’ll probably see her walking or brunching in the Melville area and accosting people and their dogs for love and pats!
Kodee King
Practice Manager
After 20 years working as an Animal Technician, including managing facilities at UWA and Curtin University, Kodee discovered that her true passion lies within the veterinary field. For the past five years, she has been supporting veterinary clinics, taking pride in contributing to team success and continuing to play a meaningful role in the lives of animals. As the owner of five rescue cats, Kodee’s commitment to animal care extends well beyond the workplace. She could not imagine being in any other career.

Growing up on Christmas Island, Alannah has had a passion for animals from a young age and always wanted to help them in some way. In her spare time she loves spending time with her Border Collie x Kelpie Koda, and wakeboarding.

Michael
cat hotel attendant
Michael has been part of the Booragoon Cat Hotel team since July 2024. As an Animal Attendant, he’s responsible for feeding, cleaning, and making sure each cat is healthy, comfortable, and well cared for.
Currently studying a Certificate III in Companion Animal Services at Murdoch TAFE, Michael brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to animal care. He especially enjoys forming individual bonds with the cats, particularly those who are shy or slow to trust, and takes pride in helping them feel at ease.
With two cats and two dogs at home, animals have always been a big part of Michael’s life. He finds a quiet sense of connection in their company. When he’s not working or studying, you’ll usually find him in the garden or unwinding with a bit of retro gaming.
