Animal Dentistry
Drs Tiegs and Mark are huge proponents of regular dental care and the importance of maintaining excellent dental hygiene. Clinical studies have linked dental disease to a plethora of animal health conditions, ranging from kidney disease to gastrointestinal upsets, bad breath, poor digestion and even heart disease!
We recommend regular dental checks, prophylactic chews and supportive diets, and also regular dental cleaning to remove the accumulation of calculus from your pet’s teeth BEFORE it can cause damage to the tissues of the gums and tooth roots. We also have heaps of experience in caring for animals with problem mouths, gum and periodontal disease, and pets who need to gently and carefully have teeth removed.
