Wellbeing Services

Microchipping

Microchipping your dog or cat ensures that if they become lost, you are much more likely to be reunited. Our microchips are about the size of a grain of rice, safe for your pets, and are ideal for identification purposes.

Behaviour Advice

During a behavioural consultation, we will discuss your pet’s behaviour, and history, and conduct a nose-to-tail examination to rule out any hidden health conditions that may be linked to the behavioural condition. We can help you implement a behavioural modification program for your pet including a holistic treatment plan.

nutrition advice

Nutrition
Advice

Nutrition is an important indicator of your pet’s health and welfare. We can discuss any health, diet, or weight fluctuations during their examination and help you plan a diet to suit their age and lifestyle. Prescription diets may be required for patients with ongoing conditions. The correct diet can greatly enhance your pet’s quality and length of life.

nail clipping

Nail
Clipping

Regular nail inspection, with clipping or trimming when required, should be part of the routine care of your pet. Whilst many outdoor pets will wear their nails down naturally, elderly and indoor pets will probably need some extra help. The requirement for nail trimming can vary depending on breed, age, level of exercise and the environment in which your pet is kept. We know that clipping your pet’s nails can be a tricky and stressful occasion. Left untrimmed, long nails can cause your pet discomfort and lead to other complications. Our experienced veterinary nurses are on hand to professionally trim your pet’s nails in a calm and reassuring environment. Please note, if your pet gets overly stressed or is aggressive, we may be unable to provide this service during your pet’s visit. We do have options if your pet requires sedation to perform nail clipping.

Osteoarthritis Management

Osteoarthritis Management

Osteoarthritis in pets is a common condition that can affect joint health, especially as your pet ages. If you notice your pet is experiencing any of the below symptoms, bring them in for a check-up, and our team can provide a treatment plan to help manage the condition.

Common signs of osteoarthritis in pets can include:

  • Limping or favouring one leg
  • Stiffness and difficulty getting up or lying down
  • Reluctance to walk, run, or play
  • Decreased activity and energy levels
  • Swelling and heat in the affected joints
  • Changes in behaviour, such as increased irritability or aggression

Regular veterinary check-ups are crucial to ensure an effective treatment plan that enhances your pet’s quality of life.

Telehealth calls

Telehealth
Calls

Enjoy peace of mind from the comfort of your own home and speak with our veterinary team, ensuring continuity of care where needed for your pet. Please note that Telehealth Calls are not a replacement for physical examinations, but an accessible tool that complements in-clinic pet healthcare. As we are unable to physically examine the patient, we are not able to provide a confirmed diagnosis or prescribe medication.

End of

We understand that the end of a beloved pet’s life is a deeply emotional and challenging time. That’s why we provide compassionate end-of-life care for your cherished companions. We believe that every pet deserves to experience a peaceful and dignified transition surrounded by love and comfort.
